Marci’s resignation is a loss for the Town of Virgin. From the comments of citizens in Virgin, Marci was doing a fantastic job. While I am saddened by her resignation, I respect her reasons and wish her all the best in her life and future endeavors. Marci’s resignation email:

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from the Virgin Town Council, effective immediately. After careful consideration, I have decided to focus on personal and professional opportunities and will no longer be able to fulfill my responsibilities to the council.
This decision was not made lightly, but I believe it is in my best interest to prioritize my health, well-being, and safety ensuring a balanced work-life environment. I kindly ask that this matter be treated with professionalism and discretion, and I would appreciate your respect for my privacy during this transition.
It has been an honor to serve the community, and I extend my gratitude to my colleagues and constituents for their support.
